Upper Joffre Lake is a beautiful alpine lake located in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada. I had the opportunity to hike there in October, and the trail was dry and free of snow and ice.
The hike was moderately challenging, but the stunning views of the glacier and surrounding mountains made it all worthwhile. The crystal clear water of the lake was simply mesmerizing, and I couldn't help but stop and take in the beauty of the scenery. The fall colors of the trees and shrubs added a special touch to the landscape, creating a vibrant and colorful backdrop.
The hike took around 5 hours, and the trail was well-marked and easy to follow. The last section of the trail leading to the lake was steep, but it was not slippery or dangerous. It was an enjoyable and rewarding experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves hiking and appreciates the beauty of nature.
Overall, Upper Joffre Lake is a must-see destination for anyone who loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking. The scenery is breathtaking, and the hike is well worth the effort. I look forward to returning in the future and exploring more...
