Completely disorganized. We planned out one morning of ski lessons while we were in town. I pre-booked lessons and rentals and received my confirmation. When we arrived at 8:20, we were greeted by a woman who was guiding everyone on where to go. I told her we were here for lessons and she told me I needed to wait in a line to use a computer to register we had arrived. So we waited a few moments and then a computer was free. The computer system uses name and date of birth to verify identity - however the year only goes up to 2012 so I was unable to login my children. When I asked the woman for help, she needed to go find someone to figure out what to do. Once more help arrived, they suggested I go right to the lesson room as I didnโ€™t really need to login to the computer after all. So I walk down the steps to a lesson room and I wait my turn. When the counter is clear, I let them know we have arrived for our lessons. The girl at the counter said nope, we were too late. It was now 8:45 and we were too late for lessons as we were supposed to be there at 8 am. I replied, โ€œExcuse me, how was I supposed to know that?โ€ She sneakily replied it was in my confirmation email. So I whipped out my phone and brought up the email and asked her to show me where in the email it mentioned anything of the sort. โ€œOh, thereโ€™s no attachment.โ€ was her only response. Once she realized the ski resort was in the wrong, she changed her attitude but there was no apology and no budging on letting my children in their paid for lessons. She did offer to move my lessons to another day, but this was our only day visiting the ski hill. I would have appreciated my money back, or even an apology, but didnโ€™t get anything...

Our experience at Mt. Washington Alpine Resort on December 19, 2024, was deeply disappointing. We arrived at the resort 10 minutes before the skiing lesson was scheduled to start, having driven over four hours in the rain from Victoria. Unfortunately, our Lexus car's built-in navigation system led us to the wrong location, and while we corrected the route using Google Maps, this caused us to lose valuable time. Despite this being an unforeseen and unfortunate incident, Alpine Resort staff showed no empathy for our situation. Instead, they rudely denied us entry to the lesson, citing that we had failed to register an hour and a half prior to the session.

Our requests to join the class, reschedule for the following day, or receive even a partial refund for the fees we paid were all rejected without any flexibility or understanding. From what we observed, the number of participants that day was not large, and it seemed entirely feasible for us to join the session without disrupting the class. However, the staff remained inflexible and unaccommodating.

The resort claimed they had emailed us about the registration requirement, but we swear we never received such an email. Moreover, when we signed up, we did not see any information on their website about this policy. This lack of proper communication and their rigid handling of our case reflect very poor management and a complete lack of respect for their customers. As non-native English speakers, we also felt that the staff was particularly impatient and unaccommodating towards us, which added to our frustration. Even though several days have passed, we remain deeply upset and disappointed by...

Had a great time here with my second snowboarding experience, big thanks to my coach Sam. Their staff are the nicest people Iโ€™ve met. But never have I ever thought I would experience racism by being called a โ€œyellow skinny assโ€ by the visitors here.

Here is what happened: I took the ski-lift to go up to another lane, during the ride I had a big fall and injured my left ankle, I realized I couldnโ€™t use my left side anymore because it hurts too much. I decided to climb up and took the ski-lift to go back, didnโ€™t bother anybody. I finally arrived and got on ski-lift. There are two guys, who is taking the ski-lift to go up, asked me how do I feel about getting down. I didnโ€™t know how to answer cuz not sure whatโ€™s their intention, so I did a thumps up, but suddenly the guy who asked said itโ€™s not a thumbs up itโ€™s a thumbs down. Then I got the โ€œyellow skinny assโ€ from the other guy. I didnโ€™t say anything because it took me a while to realize, and they already passed.

Honestly, I really donโ€™t know why this happened in the situation without any political or race matters. I was just minding my own business , having fun and enjoying my vacation. I respect that the professional skier or snowboarder think it would be a shame to give up or go backโ€ฆ butโ€ฆIโ€™m not professional and I was injured. My parents taught me to love the world and respect everybody no matter what race, what age, what kind they are. But I guess sometimes you canโ€™t make everybody has the...

The views up the mountain is so scenic. Lovely views anywhere. However, a lot of confusion happened on our first tubing experience. I bought our ticket during their promotion and called their office for reservation. I was told to just show my electronic reservation and come on time due to COVID-19 protocols. But when we were there this holiday, the resort is so chaotic. Lots of people and no signage to tell us what to do and where to go. It was hard for a first timer. Good thing I saw one staff and point us out where to go. However, the electronic bar code wasn't working on me. An I.T came to help on my dismay, still not working. Referred me again to a different booth. It was really confusing and stressful. Finally, another staff assisted us. She is so kind and very helpful. She helped us with our predicament. Point us to another booth, but didn't live us there until another lady got us a ticket. Gratefully! They changed our schedule because we were 15 minutes late to our original schedule. Nevertheless, we had so much fun with our 2hour tubing experience. Next time skiing when they're not so busy. Hopefully, they will fix their website. And put information that could help first timer.
