Stayed here after the new year’s weekend and found the two bedroom unit comfortable and clean. The actual foorplan was a little awkward and somewhat dated, but adequate. It was nice to have a decent wifi connection and a variety of tv channels available during the snowy evenings. The kitchen was supplied with the basics and some; stove and working oven, toaster and coffee machine plus all the kitchen utensils and cutlery needed for 6 or more. The hotub wasn’t working due to water restriction made by Mt.Washington Ski resort administration, which made it beyond the control of anyone of the Bear Lodge front desk. This raises a very serious concern and makes the appeal to return most unlikely. As most of the units are indipendantly owned, any issues that arise make it difficult to find who is responsible. If no issues arrise then it can be a trouble-free and fun time with family and friends. My recomendation to all who chose Bear Lodge is make sure you carry a full list of phone numbers and contacts, because administration between roadways, outside parking, lobby, individual unit owners and multiple levels of Mt.Washington ski resort departments are alienated from each other. When you ask who os responsible for … the answer is 🤷🏽♂️ “not me”. They really need to work closer together and colaberate resources in order to make patrons and tourists feel safe and secure to their wants and needs. The way it is now, it’s impossible to find the ones responsible for any given problem, and help for...

This has to be one of the most poorly run vacation rental properties I have ever been too. Strata clearly doesn't like the fact that short term rentals are available and are trigger happy to fine people to being in the building.
We we warned that the water had been shut off, unfortunately not told that it would run brown for the first day of our two day visit. The resort store doesn't even sell bottled water... so make sure you plan for that. We were at a friends unit for dinner and happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when the grumpy caretaker decided since we were in the hall way walking home at 10pm that warranted a $200 noise violation fine since he saw us entering our unit. We fought this for over a month with Strata and the property management company to no avail. Sided with the caretaker even after he admitted there were no actual noise complaints and he could "see the unit we were in" despite us not being noisy. Email attached addressing that we the "noise complaint" was erroneous.
Avoid this place at all costs, not worth the money. Dated accommodations, unfriendly caretaker and clearly a money grab opportunity for strata. Save your self the time and money and just stay home, you will...
Read moreMy extended family took over two apartments in this year's Spring Break Deal. We came for the skiing and every member of our group-young and oldish-unanimously voted that this was our favourite BC location. I could not afford the outlandish rates of Whistler and did not want to cross the Coquihalla to get to other resorts. At just a few hours from Vancouver, with excellent connections, the trip was a dream.||Both apartments were modern, clean and fresh, with ample fluffy pillows and good wifi! The number of free boardgames available kept the kids amused. We also appreciated the quality bathing products and the warm reception by staff. We had no difficulties with the garage door and appreciated the placement of our parking space and storage locker next to the elevator, as I had difficulty walking. Finally, I had requested in advance a quiet floor to ensure that the children slept and this was also done. ||||Disclaimer- I have no connection whatsoever with Bear Lodge. I am very well travelled and have very high standards when it comes to Family Holidays. ||||Bravo Bear Lodge on making this such a...
