Queen of Peace Monastery — Attraction in Area D (Elaho/Garibaldi)

Had a short visit to learn more about this place. A chat with one of the Sisters gave me a paceful feeling, something that felt like there is nothing to worry about when we trust God. I left that place with an invisible blanket of soft peace, then I kept trying to figure if that was placebo or actually there was no cold or hot or pain felt by my body, even it was cold outside. Also I got some handmade soap and few other items that they have at their gift shop, which is not a shop, it is more of a place where they provade some of their work to their visitors, and where donations are encouraged. This serene place is the home of a cloistered congregation of Dominican Sisters. The liturgies (Mass, Divine Office) are open to the public in the chapel.
