Views that make me feel alive✨ 📍Sea to Sky Summit ✔️You can go here by gondola or ✔️You can hike (approx 3.5 hours - categorized as Hard by Alltrails requiring chains and ladders to climb some rocks) Which one do you prefer? (I would try both option)😁

We went on a Sunday afternoon and parking was a little challenging but they had parking attendants to help make sure people were making the most use of the space and not just parking willy-nilly wherever. No line to buy tickets, however a huge line for the gondolas themselves (wrapped around the playground and back to the ticket booth itself.) Unfortunately for a portion of our wait they only had one line and it was not uncommon to see a gondola leave with just 1 passenger. Finally after someone brought it up to the staff they opened a second line for "shared cabin" so the main line was for passengers who still wanted a "private" gondola for just their party (of any size), but the other line just loaded the next 8 people (per gondola) from that line to help speed things up. The gondola itself was clean and the ride was very smooth and fast! From base to top it was about 7 minutes, with amazing views of the sound as you ascended. Occasionally you also would see hikers below the gondola as well, making the accent on foot and using chains that are anchored in the rocks to get up the more vertical areas in spots! This is a great activity for all ages if the weather is nice. Definitely recommend getting there early though, just...

We decided to visit the Sea to Sky Gondola from North Vancouver. The drive itself along Highway 99 is already a treat — scenic coastal and mountain views as you head north — and it took us about 45 minutes to reach the base. The gondola ascends about 885 meters (2,900 feet) over a roughly 10-minute ride from basecamp to the summit. Sea to Sky Gondola +3 While riding up, you get impressive views of the surrounding forests and Howe Sound. It was unfortunate that part of the bay near the water’s edge was undergoing construction during our visit, which stirred up sediment and made the water look murkier than usual — a small downside to an otherwise beautiful ride. At the summit, there are walking trails of varying lengths. As someone more used to city life, I appreciated the “easy” spiritual trail (~20 minutes) — just enough walking to feel refreshed without being too strenuous. The summit is well-equipped: you’ll find a restaurant, gift shop, viewing platforms, and even a short suspension bridge that gives you a little extra thrill. Overall, the Sea to Sky Gondola is an excellent half-day (or even full-day) attraction. It combines gorgeous scenery, manageable walks, and flexible activities that suit a wide range...

I wasn't a fan when they put this in years ago. But having hiked up to the rear via the Shannon Creek Logging Road I came to appreciate that very few people would ever experience how beautiful it is up there.

The ride up is usually pretty quick if there isn't a lineup so during the week is your best bet. After a snowfall though the place is magical so you should bring at least some snow capable footwear. Even better would be to bring along a set of snowshoes so you can explore some of the trails that used to be only previously reachable by people with four-wheel drives.

And the food in the restaurant is actually quite good having actually decent portions as opposed to some of my recent visits to White Spot in park royal. And the added bonus of having a licensed area up there outside is a great bonus to have a beer sitting up by the railing admiring the view and the constantly changing weather.

Well I realize it's not possible for everyone, you should consider getting a season lift pass so that you can explore the place over the course of a year to experience the full magnitude of...
