Lindeman Lake is a popular hike for a reason! Here's why: Quick facts: Distance: 3.4 km (round trip) Elevation gain: 200 meters Difficulty: Moderate Time: About 2 hours Dogs: Allowed on leash Best time to visit: May to October What to expect: Steep start: The beginning is pretty steep, but it gets easier as you go. Beautiful views: The lake is stunning, surrounded by mountains and forest. Lots of people: This is a popular hike, so expect to see others. Limited parking: The parking lot fills up quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. Camping: There's a campground at the lake. Other lakes: You can keep going to Greendrop Lake for a longer hike. Tips: Go early: To avoid crowds and parking issues, start your hike early. Wear good shoes: The trail can be muddy and slippery. Bring water and snacks: You'll work up an appetite! Enjoy the scenery: Take your time and soak it all in.

Overall, Lindeman Lake is a great hike for people of all fitness levels. It's a beautiful place to spend a...

Lindeman Lake is an absolute treasure! The hike to the lake is moderately challenging, with stunning views of the forest, rocky trails, and the sound of rushing creeks keeping you company. The reward at the end is breathtaking—a crystal-clear, turquoise lake surrounded by towering trees and mountains. It’s the perfect spot to relax, have a picnic, or take in the beauty of nature.

The trail is well-maintained, but proper hiking shoes are a must, as there are some rocky and root-filled sections. Arrive early to avoid crowds and ensure you get parking. If you’re up for more adventure, you can extend your hike to Greendrop Lake.

Overall, this hike is an amazing experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic outdoor adventure. Can’t...

This was a very nice hike. Do not let the first 1/4 or so lull you into a false sense of ease. It soon starts to rise, and is strewn with rocks and roots. Not that its impassable, but it does get steeper. The metal bridge is about the halfway point, and it is in very good shape. The trail is a pretty good climb for at least 1/2 of the way, then begins to level out, of course, towards the lake. Weather was great, and warm. The lake is quite picturesque, and someone was actually there with a paddleboard she inflated once she got there. Several camping platforms (8?) and a latrine are there for campers. It was a great hike there and back, but again, be ready for a fairly steep and...

Hiked June 29, 2025- SUCH a beautiful trail all the way through- I would say Lindman lake is prettier than Green loop lake. However, the hike between Lindman and Greendrop is very beautiful with a mix of rocks and 180 degrees mountain views, and through lots of shade of enchanted mossy forest (very green) and lovely streams along the way. We took a longer time to complete because we just wanted to enjoy the hike and not rush- but if you just want to go up and down you could do it in about 3-4.5hrs if you hike fast. Going up to Lindman- the first 30min is a test to your desire to be up there (a good climb) and after that- is a very mild incline.

Its better to go here in summer time when its dry, as we experience in a summer time in a cloudy day and it was bit slippery to go up specially when there is a rock to climb. It takes us 2hour round trip. It was a rewarding to see the lake in the top. Photo was taken last august 2019 when it used to have more logs that you can take a photo.but now there nothing left.
