Golfed the ridge course here. Very nice course. Well kept everywhere. Cudos to the crew there. Food in the restaurant was great. Service was too. My only complaint would be that my wife and I got paired with another twosome for our front nine that was obviously elderly and a bit slower than most. Yet the course Marshall came by and asked me to pick the pace up if we could. Don't know what he was thinking. We did that front nine in 1h 55 minutes which isn't too bad. My wife and I spent over $500 here that day I'll golf at my own pace thank you very much. Their zero cannabis policy is very lame as well. We'll let you smoke and drink all you want but no cannabis anywhere on the property. They can't sell it there and make money so its not welcome would be my guess. They claim "for the safety of all our guests" but come on booze is way more destructive than cannabis especially in a town with no taxi service. I was breaking that rule by the second hole up yours copper point. I still gave them 4 stars cause overall it was a great day and a super nice place just wish the marshall used some common sense because after he came by the elderly lady who paid good money to golf there pretty much quit to speed us up and I felt bad about that. Judging by the other reviews this is quite normal for this place that marshall needs to lose his job cause...

Thanks to the 'nice' Marshall at The Ridge, we will never be contributing to this course. While out for a walk from the Sports Court of the beautiful Copper Point Resort, we walked through the woods and ended up at the tee box of hole 9. With 2 adults and 4 children(average age of 5), we were standing at the tee box admiring the beautiful view. The nice lady in the beer cart pulled up and had a wonderful conversation with us. She entertained and engaged the kids in a wonderful conversation. On our way off of the cart path, the Marshall pulled up that had a chip on his shoulder before he even saw us. We were greeted by, "This is private property and if you follow the cart path and exit left, that is the quickest way out of here. This is a liability for us, so please leave". Two parents at 40 years of age, would not put their children in harm's way as both avid golfers!

I appreciate the opportunity you gave us to donate $400+ to your course however, I will have to decline. I will spend my money elsewhere ensuring there is no affiliation to this course. I will also be sure to inform all friends, family, co-workers and business associates, to golf elsewhere.

Looking forward to your...

Played the Point course. Altering a review from last trip here, which was 5 stars. We are in town for a Bachelor Party trip, which is actually more of a golf and bbq trip. About as vanilla of a bachelor weekend as you could do. We're all in our 30s and 40s and just came to golf as a family and have fun. I called the resort a few weeks ago to see if they'd be ok with the bachelor in question to be wearing a women's golf outfit. Just as a "Haha" moment. Trying to have some fun but still be respectful. I was told it would be ok as long as it was proper golf attire and we weren't rowdy or disrespectful of the course or people. We arrived and were immediately told the bachelor had to change into "proper attire", which we thankfully brought. Also, the people in the pro shop communicated that they weren't aware that a bachelor party was attending the course and that all workers on the course should monitor our groups. We weren't having a party on the course. We just wanted to play a round and have a laugh. Nobody in either of our groups got carried away in our drinking or our actions. Never felt less welcome at a course in my life. The course itself was great. The people...

Accidentally booked the Ridge course before realizing it was only a par 62 masters course. Contemplated changing to the Point but was glad i didn’t. It’s in excellent condition with some nice challenge. I couldn’t putt worth a damn but that’s on me. Marvellous service from the checkin, carts team, range crew and the starter. The cart girl was nice but I only saw her at 5 and 17. The coffee was almost empty so I got the dregs which she didn’t charge me for. I would likely have grabbed a beer if one was available around 12 or 13. That said, I could have stocked up into the freshly iced cooler on the cart at the beginning. Upon returning the cart, the guy called me by name, wiped my clubs down and exchanged some good banter about the course. For a 15 HCP used to budget and municipal courses back home, I felt pretty good about these touches. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there. Will be nice to return with some buddies to play the big course.

This weekend myself and 5 friends had 3 tee times on the Ridge course at Copperpoint for a guys weekend away. The course was truly spectacular with beautifully manicured greens and fairways! 5 star course! But what really stood out was the level of service, all the workers from the clubhouse servers, Marshall’s and pro shop attendants were helpful friendly and professional. The entire time we felt taken care of and even when we were a bit lubricated they always made us feel welcome! Thanks for a great weekend Copperpoint! We will be back!!
