Dear Cultus Lake Managementย Team First of all, I would like to thank youย for providing us a beautiful park at Cultus BC. However, I would like to bring your attention to the rates which I found highly unjustified. my email might not bring any change in the rates though, but I would like to give my best opinion on this concern.ย  In around 2017 -18, I parked my vehicle in the wrongย area designated only for vehicles having trailers, I got the TICKET, discussed over the phone, and got a little rebate which was the only thing that could happen. During that time the BOARDS saying trailer parking etc were not nicely placed and were NOT fully visible since they were behind the bushes and leaves. It was a kind of unorganized placement of that boards. Management must place fully Visible BOARDS instead of boards with tiny fonts and colors. It felt like that someone intentionally placed them at a spot where visitors might miss seeing them in orderย to rip more money from their pockets. I know it's harsh to read, but this is what I felt. I had to pay that fine sinceย I am a frequent visitor. NOW, yesterday when I went there I realized that the parking rates are reflecting the included cost of the re-Zoning and landscapingย expenditures. During Covid 19 people survived and went through struggling times, this period brought the stress of losing jobs, wages, physical and mental stress as well. The government funding programs just helped people to thrive through all this pandemic which is worth it for us. Now on the other hand parking rates, Food Prices and other things raised up likeย a skyrocket. I don't understand how Cultus lake designed its parking rates to attract more Visitors to recover the cost more efficiently, ethically, and faster ?? We wereย 10 vehicles and paid 37$ each for almost 5-6 hrs of our stay, paid $370 for just using a parking space for 5-6 hrs. Anyways, you guys know true and reasonable reasons and cause behind this parking price system. It seems that the price is also designed in a way so that people only spend less time and leave to let other visitors park their vehicle and enjoy the amusement. I just would like to submit my suggestionย to bring it down to a Maximum of 5$ Includingย everything OR it should work 3$ for one hr, 4$ for the next Hour and $5 for the next hour, and $6 MAX for the next adding hours. Capilano bridge price isย also a good example of a pricing issue. They have an offer saying " Buy a ticket once and it will work for a year". My question is " Who has this time to go Capilano Bridge 12 times in a year ? " The price by Capilano Suspension Bridge management is also so high. I am living in Canada for 10 years and I never visited Capilano for two reasons, which might be funny at the same time, One is their high price and second is my family size, why would we pay over 600$ to see Mountains, Cliffs, and trees, etc where as we should buy good stuff for 600$ !!! I mean be sensible and logical. Prices are set to attract more and more visitorsย not to push peopleย to change their minds. High ticketing price kills the whole plan. It's not easy to earn dollars during this pandemic. The Overall experience With Cultus lake is Brilliant and Awesome, Prices about Parking and the fines are 100% needs to be revised by some competent group of experienced people having abilities to think about when and how to decide a courteous price for Visitors and not to just bring Economical benefit. Working for the best interest of theย visitors should also be into consideration. Thanks,ย CULTUS Best Regards and have fun Gurmeet...

Cultus Lake is a true highlight of the Fraser Valley. The clear, warm water framed by lush forests and majestic mountains makes it a fantastic destination for families, swimmers, boaters, and paddlers alike. Picnic areas, flush toilets, beachfront campgrounds, and hot showersโ€”itโ€™s all here, well-kept and thoughtfully maintained.

Be aware that weekends and summer holidays bring massive crowds and trafficโ€”but arriving early (before 10 AM) usually helps. Parking is pricy, often around $6/hour + $1 per transaction, so keep that in mind if youโ€™re staying all day.

While most of the park is clean and welcoming, a few mention issues with geese droppings on particular beaches and a noisy campground near the road. One reviewer reported a rodent problem at Clear Creekโ€”so doubleโ€‘check your booking before confirming.

Overall, this provincial park delivers scenic beauty, refreshing water, and plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoorsโ€”especially for families looking for fun in the sun. Highly recommended, but go early and...

It's always nice to be back in Cultus Lake. This time I hang out with friend and her family and meet a some church friends too. Water is cool, we got a very nice spot to set up our tent beside a picnic table. Well-shaded and crowds are respectful to their neighboursโ€™ spots. Not many boats and jet skis today. Very nice weather and the greenery and mountain views are so relaxing and beautiful. We arrived around 9 Am and there were few parking spots left. So it always helps to come early. Being everything you need as the store is quite a walk away. There are shops but if you drive you might not have a parking space when you come back. My only disappointment is the SUP and kayak rentals at picnic site is closed. I was a bit bored as I don't really swim for fear of the swimmer's itch from the ducks that are present in the area. Luckily we met some acquaintances that lend us their SUP. In general, it's a very nice and convenient picnic site to hang out with family...

Not too far from the Vancouver, this is a great place to bring the family for a day or for longer than a week. There are several large camping sites by the lake & lots of easily available facilities for everyone. If you would like more amenities, there are some rusty cabins or some modern accommodations to book! There are restaurants by the entrance & several convenience stores along the main road around the lake so you don't need to leave to get what you need. If you need a break from the water, there are several hikes to explore, the most popular being the short & sweet Teapot Hill hike!

We moved to Cultus Lake 5 years ago and rented a place for 2 years. We knew we had to stay and our neighbors were Realtors, so they found us a house we could afford and spent a little bit of money renovating the house the way we wanted. The people are amazing and the community is unlike any other we have experienced. They offer so many free events for families and kids. They include summer movie nights in the park, fireworks shows, etc. Great place for camping, boating, a water park, an amusement park, great restaurants and a great golf course that also has amazing food.

Amazing spot as usual! We make a full day of it, (be prepared to pay $60 to park to do this), but it's worth it to arrive early, and not check the time all day. The lattes at the concession stand were great! ๐Ÿ˜Ž โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜†โ˜† We went again last week, and are going tomorrow! We noticed parking was $72, but we arrived very early, and stayed into the late afternoon. The park and facilities, as well as the convenient access to other services, (like the gas station/convenience store), and decent lattes at the concession stand, make it more than worth it! ๐Ÿ˜Ž
