Mid June midweek hike starting at 8 am. We had the lake to overselves! Gradual uphill on wide dirt road so easy going. Could be easy on mountain bike if you start early and don't have to work your way around throngs of hikers. Mostly shade for almost 5 km uphill. Few mosquitoes. Along raging river. Very peaceful at lake - no trains or highway. Dogs allowed on trail on leash only to Kinney Lake and not overnight. Stunning place. Trail has been recently reopened. Much busy on trail at noon on our way back so start early if you enjoy...

A beautiful route which you can walk or cycle. Kinney Lake can be found on the way through to Berg Lake and it is well worth the pit stop for a snack and a photo. Be sure to bring bear spray with you whenever you venture out into the wilderness of Canada.
