Tyndale Beach — Attraction in Barrie

this is a great place to spend the day for a family picnic BBQ on just go to Old rest and relaxation. I like the fact that they have a park at there for a kids also the lake is right there as well. they also have a large covered area that you can make reservations and host a party. I'm not sure what the cost for that would be but it's worth looking into for a big Gathering. my only issue that's preventing me from giving this place a 5-star rating, is that the parking is very scarce over there you need to get there really early to find a spot or you will not find parking. We got there a little bit late and thankfully it was perfect timing as someone was just exiting a spot and I got Prime parking. It's also worth noting that parking is $3 an hour...

2.5* this beach is fairly secluded from the hustle and bustle. Yet on nice summer days, this beach can be packed with people. For a small beach, it's unbelievably busy. Suitable for younger children as it has a small playground as well. It has a significant slope towards the beach from the grass and I find that the water area a bit too rocky. I am so blessed to live a 3 minute bike ride from this beach ! It's a beautiful clean beach with volleyball nets, charcoal bbqs,washrooms, park and zipline for the kids. My only wish is that this beautiful beach was for locals only ... too many people come from this city or other areas and leave their garbage .
