Friendly and Attentive Staff: The staff at iRange Toronto are the true stars of this venue. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me warmly and provided helpful tips to improve my swing. Their genuine enthusiasm for the sport added to the overall enjoyment of the experience.
Mosquito Repellent Tip: While the driving range itself is fantastic, it's important to note that the location is close to nature, which may attract some mosquitoes. However, this minor inconvenience doesn't diminish the outstanding quality of the facility and the service provided.
Ample Space and Amenities: The driving range has plenty of space, ensuring a comfortable and uncrowded experience. Additionally, they provide a good selection of clubs for use, which is great for those who might not have their own equipment.
Fantastic Atmosphere: Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner, iRange Toronto offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect place to work on your swing, have fun with friends, or simply enjoy a leisurely day out on the range.
In conclusion, iRange Toronto is a golf lover's paradise, boasting a top-notch driving range and a staff that goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit. The mosquito repellent tip is a small reminder, but it's easily overlooked once you immerse yourself in the fantastic golfing experience. Read moreThis was my first time playing anything golf related that wasn't mini golf. I got to experience the location, price, activity and service.
Location: It's quite a hidden spot so you will want to use a GPS. You will arrive on the site and will see the waterpark ahead to the right, you will want to turn left and drive down the gravel road till you see the range and gravel parking lot. Once you walk in, it all makes sense. It's a nicely designed open concept range with small washrooms, bar seating area, product hut and bays. You might want to take some mosquito spray for the late night attendance. I don't think they have water bottle station so maybe take your own water bottle if you want to save some money.
Price: It can be somewhat pricey if you have to rent clubs and balls. I did the hourly rate which gave me unlimited balls which was reasonably priced I thought but if you are looking for quality play versus quantity, then pay for the balls instead to get the bang for your buck balanced with enjoyment.
Activity: Playing was pretty fun as they had various digital games on the screen to try. You can make an account on there to track your data points. Some games like flappy birds was very laggy so might not be worth it if you are paying for the time. It's hard to say how accurate the system is but still cool to see some details on your gameplay. The balls come up automatically which makes the play seamless. The rented golf clubs were okay quality but might be better to take your own if you have or plan to come back consistently. The range is pretty big, I didn't hit it over or seen anyone do so.
Service: The workers were helpful in giving insight for a first-time player. They came by a couple times to ask if we wanted something to drink or eat. There is a button on each bay for requesting their service.
Ultimately, I'll probably go back during the summer with some friends or even if I just want to let out some steam. It can be quite a workout so be careful how hard you go at it. It's fun,...
Read moreI am writing to formally express my disappointment with the experience my group and I had at your establishment during our recent visit on May 30 2024. We reserved two bays for a birthday party, and unfortunately, several issues severely impacted our experience.
Reservation Mishandling: Despite arriving on time, one of our reserved bays was given away to another group. Your policy states that reserved bays will only be given away if groups do not show up after 15 minutes, which was not the case for us.
Second Bay Given Away: During our play, our second bay was inexplicably given to another golfing group, further disrupting our event.
Over-serving of Alcohol: Despite explicitly requesting that no more alcohol be served, the server continued to over-serve, and then argued with us when we reiterated our request. This behavior is in direct violation of Smart Serve rules and regulations, showing a concerning disregard for responsible service.
Frequent Equipment Failures: The bays consistently broke down throughout the night, leading to significant downtime and frustration. While we understand that the staff was busy and appeared short-staffed, it was extremely frustrating to repeatedly have to track down someone to fix the bays.
Refund Issue: We were promised a partial refund for the bays and drinks due to these issues. However, instead of receiving the refund, we were charged the refund amount, compounding our dissatisfaction.
Given these issues, I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning to your establishment. I expect the promised refund to be processed promptly. If it is not addressed in a timely manner, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to the Better Business Bureau and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
