Great place to go walking, take family time, or social distance with friends. There are swings, teeder totters, play structures, splash park (not open yet), lots of seating areas, picnic tables, shaded sitting areas, paved walking paths, and trees if you just want to drop a blanket and have an old fashioned picnic. Everyone I have seen there has been great for social distancing, and most kids have been wearing masks on the play structures. If you are playing Pokemon Go, Rideau park has 3 gyms and 8+ Pokestops. Washroom facilities on site are generally clean, tidy, and are very spacious. The pool is good, but staff need to start filling it earlier so it's open at the 11:00am time scheduled. The tobaggan hill is great even if there is a manhole at the bottom so you have to take care not to crash into it early in the season.
