Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant — Attraction in Brantford

We were there for a special event. Short Play competition and arts festival in the park. It was a wonderful day all round. The plays. The arts and crafts on display under various tents in the park. The variety of bands playing on the main stage. The great food trucks and beverages available were all tasty. I particularly enjoyed a meal from a caterer's truck of perfectly grilled waygu beef and shrimp on a skewer that was delectable. And of course the exquisite works of art hanging in the gallery. It was a perfect hot summer day for the first day of fall. Then we were pleasantly relieved of the heat with a cooling hail and rain storm. We even got to see a funnel cloud or a shelf cloud passing overhead. It was a breathtaking day of visual, audio, intellectual and emotional stimulation....

The Glenhyrst Art Gallery Brantford is a busy place. It has Art on display by different artist and hosts local Artists as well They have summer art programs for kids A vissual arts guild with many talented artists. They have huge grounds and a path right to the river with beautiful garden displays and a specail holiday light show where they serve hot chocolate the month of December. People picnic here and joggers use the park all round. A Bagpiper has started playing in the park around 7pm and it is just a beautiful place for wedding pictures. This is a must see place. Admission is usually free and a donation box beside a guest book are just inside the door. One can lease pictutes or purchase some here. Just a magical place for...

We went tonight for the Christmas lights and it was very pretty. The kids had a great time running around look at the different displays. There is lots of areas for photo opportunities and the staff offered to help us with pictures so all of us could be in the picture. That my not happen every time but it was nice that they did offer. If you don't want to walk around you can drive thru as well. It is a beautiful light display. We have walked through the ground in the summer and it is very beautiful then as well with the different flower beds that are planted throughout...
