I worked for the city of calgary for years and visited this park many times for maintenance. And i also erected the new signs ☺. The parking lot facing 26St is bad you can find condoms, needles etc. Many cars are broken into as well on this side ( sweeping glass )in the day as they can disappear into the adjacent neighborhood of dover. Main parking lot and volleyball area side with water park suggest same precaution because of proximity but there both fenced off keeping the nasty stuff out most of the time ( advise to always do a walk through before use ). Over all the park is very nice for day walks also you can cross the road as it overlooks deer foot but don't stray to far down those paths are there are vagrants and homeless people that can appear from the hillside. Its fairly open so its safe because of visibility but do not walk through here after dark valley view park or over 26th. Protect yourself at all times be vigilant and aware of your saroundings. This place has stunning views of the downtown great for photography...

This is an okay splash park. It's great for small children like 5 and under in my opinion...the splash park isn't that big but for small children it's great and works well!!! There is also a playground right next to it on both sides and this makes for a great outing for the family. It does get a bit crowded between 2pm and 4pm and because it isn't a very big splash park it gets a little overwhelming. But my 2 and a half year old son doesn't seem to mind at all he just loves running and playing with everyone. LOL there is a lifeguard on duty there the past two times I visited so I don't know if they are there all times or specific times. There are bathrooms and changing rooms to which is nice and...

I feel so silly that I had not come here earlier! It is a fantastic place to come with kids and hang out!

The 10 hectares of beauty and recreation are a must to go and enjoy!

There is usually plenty of parking available and the views of downtown nearby are amazing!

At the park there is a kids playground with rubber flooring to make it safer. There are park benches to sit and chat with friends and there is even BEACH VOLLEYBALL here! Who knew????

Is park rivals any of the other parks that we have in Calgary. I feel blessed that we live in a city that has so much green space for us to enjoy for free.

You need to come and check out this amazing place! Bring your sun tan lotion. It gets sunny...

This park is definitely my wife and dog's favorite. My wife gets scared eaisly, and our dog is reactive to others bigger dogs, so they need plenty of on-leash areas to run with a long lead in populated areas, which this park provides. We also enjoy the beautiful views at this park. Until 8:30 pm, there are many kids, families, and dogs around, but we have found several ways to avoid them, which we appreciate. We like how there is always parking and it's a great alternative than walking in 17th sketchy neighborhood.

Too many mosquitos now due to the untreated pond; go elsewhere. They normally do insecticide by now but so far they've only herbacide parts of the park. I come here daily either to bike or walk my dog. We do several laps; but went at 10pm last night to bike and the air was thick with mosquitoes in my eyes in my mouth... Normally do at least 5 laps with my buddy but I left in less than 1. Mosquitos at the canal are not too bad; go to the dog park down there; or bike along
