Bob McMullen Linear Trail — Attraction in Cambridge

A beautiful, easy, mostly paved trail with parking access at the top of the hill by the arena. A few side trails make for some interesting scenery right beside the river. Fishing is good, though this side of the river is quite shallow so most fish are small within short casting range. Just make sure to watch out for kayakers! This trail makes for a nice afternoon or evening walk with great sunsets. The only drawbacks are the lack of shade trees along the main path make it a bit daunting during the heat of the day and the hill going to the parking lot is a bit steep for little kids (or arthritis sufferers...

Cambridge trail - very nice. Today I have visited for the first time. It is nice for walks in nature. Walk your dog or bike. If you like nature the way it is - here is the place. The trail is long and it goes along the river. It is so relaxing hearing the water flow and the birds. I can’t wait for summer or fall when the look of the trail will be very different. Great trail for a light hike or walk .... started from Bishop Street parking lot and walked over 3km .. can stay on gravel or dirt trail, we took the dirt trail as it runs along the river and is quieter... lots of walkers, dogs and some bikers as well... moderately busy.. the kids loved seeing the chickens and sheep as we ended our walk behind the...
