Excellent community park. It has something for almost everyone. There's a huge playing field, large playground, lacrosse box, basketball courts & street hockey cage nets on far end of the courts. We went for the forest trails & to see the pretty little creek in the ravine. Trails are very wide, accessible to almost all. I'm a disabled nature walker & hiker - I get around wearing 2 full leg braces & a wooden cane - had no problems walking the nature trails. There are only a few inclines on them but nothing too rough.

A delayed flight resulted in time to kill. Put into Google "Park near me" when I stopped for gas and up came Centennial Park. It is beautiful! I didn't explore a lot of the trails, even though they seemed to interconnect. It was peaceful, well cared for, humongous trees, a real treat! I'm so glad my primary brain (aka Google) comes up with these winners!

Great park for all ages. A park structure for little kids and another structure for older kids. picnic area, lots of free parking, very nice washroom facilities. There are soccer and ball fields, lacrosse box.

This is a great park with many facilities for play and exercise. In some parts of the park , you'd think you were in a remote rain forest. with a spectacular ravine. I went to this park today as I was looking for a place to walk in the shade, and saw that there was a 1.6k loop. Great , I can go round twice and get my two miles in. I parked in the 'main' parking lot and looked for the signs, no signs! So I followed what I thought would be the outermost part of the park . Nope I was back to where I started from in 15 mins. I tried again, but this time asked some other walkers , who directed me to go out of the park and then back in, and thats when I found the ravine! It really wouldn't take much to put up a few wooden signs with '1.6km trail' and an arrow. To have a one mile loop in a beautiful park is a great feature and it should...

Great wooded nature trails are great for dog-walking and interaction. The main small, parking lot has 1 disability parking and is extremely narrow when large vehicles are parked, especially when busy, close to trails, restrooms and playground. Young children playground, restrooms, some sheltered picnic tables, ball fields and tennis courts across Wallace are some of the other features...
