Ave you ever rented a room for a birthday party here? Ever put in a bouncy castle? Did they make you buy liability insurance before you brought the bouncy castle? Well all of that was for nothing. The insurance they force you to buy is completely useless and void as the insurance companies like PAL requires you to have the castle securely anchored to the floor, if not the insurance would be completely void if something where to happen. LRC does not have anchors points. I tried to explain this to the staff who deals with room rentals and she became rude and only told me over and over to get the insurance or they won’t be able to accommodate a bouncy castle... I tried to explain to her that the insurance is useless and a waste of time and money because there is no anchor points. I asked her who would pay for the damages if a kid get injured and our insurance backs out? She said they will deal with it later lol. We had the room reserved and the bouncy castle bought for a week before they decided to tell us we needed insurance the day before the party... then when I brought this news to their attention there was no calling us back and wouldn’t answer the phone for a few hrs... I finally called city of leduc and told them the story. The lady was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. She wanted to do everything she could to correct the situation. Then basically at closing time another lady got ahold of us and gave us a few options other than using out new bouncy castle we purchased. I guess we could of played bean bag toss or something but at this point I wanted a freebie. Everything was planned up until the last day when we had to get and pay for void insurance, then bam... plan is lost and we had to find other accommodations last minute. They didn’t want to give us a free room to make good, or even understand why I would ask for one. If you purchased party insurance in the past because of a bouncy castle I’d take that receipt to LRC and get a refund because that insurance you had to buy was completely...
Read moreCustomer service is horrendous. On multiple occasions I’ve had horrible treatment and witnessed other people get treated the same way. Staff is rude and pretty much constantly acts like they have something better to be doing than helping the guests. Ive even had a friend get smacked in the back of the head by one of the staff when we were younger. Of course at the time we thought it was funny and not that serious, but looking back at it now something should have definitely been done. This is especially the last place you want to go if your planning on playing basketball. You are literally not allowed to play pickup games with your friends and to add on to that your not even allowed to dunk. If your not familiar with basketball that’s essentially saying you cannot take slap shots in hockey. It’s a pretty essential part of the sport. We would have instances where everyone on the court would be taking turns playing pickup games and the winner would stay on until they lose (this was called kings court) and the older gentlemen with a grey beard and grey hair as well as the man with a lazy eye would constantly get mad and harass us because we were taking turns instead of all playing at once. To summarize this place is essentially a joke when it comes to costumer service that lacks professionalism and all around common sense. However, there are two amazing ladies that work there who are truly amazing with costumers and are always a joy to talk to. Unfortunately I couldn’t get there names but they are the only reason this place even...
Read moreMy son was threatened by another teen which all was on camera. As an acting adult intervened to figure the situation. I was also threatened by the teen and talked to in great disrespect.
Apparently as an adult , if your child is threatened you immediately go to the police. Attempting to diffuse the situation of a teen threatening your child and threat to an adult is handled in accordance to code and conduct of LRC that a is written in membership sign up . Dierectly walking up to and confront a person in close proximity with zero physical contact is against code. I am not sure what the law the unit measurement for standing distance is? This is a mandatory LRC rule of conduct according to Michael Warchol. Micheal reviewd the footage and fully admits he has no idea what was said and clearly zero contact .
Honestly the LRC is a ok facility at best for a small community but too many family relations in jobs they should not be in.
Happy to let all property tax paying citizens you need to study your LRC expectations and as an adult please do not diffuse a teen life threat situation.
My entire family and children raised from birth in Leduc will never support LRC going forward . There is many gyms out there that do not make you wear a...
