William F. Lede Park — Attraction in City of Leduc

It's a nice and well cared for park! Unfortunately the construction crew that was recently hired to pave the road were downright vindictive.

They had a "fresh oil go slowly" sign up so we followed those directions until we were about halfway down the road to the parking lot and it turned out they were paving it. Okay, that's fine, we'll just turn around when we get the chance. However the site manager was absolutely awful to us, blaming us for his lack of proper signage and telling us while it's 32c out in direct sunlight to "Get comfortable you'll be here a long while." Instead of helping us get out of his crews way. We managed to get out of the way through no help from them and thankfully didn't get any heat...

We’ve been living in Leduc for just over a year now and Lede Park always seems to be a common place for our family walks and outdoor adventures.

The playground in the middle of the sports fields has become a favourite place for our 2 year old.

My wife also tried kayaking for the first time in a long time on Telford Lake and enjoyed every minute of it. Cheap rentals mixed with some great exercise.

Would highly recommend for any form of exercise, alongside anyone who just enjoys nature...

We parked at the boat club and walked quite a ways along the side of the lake. We enjoyed seeing the airplanes going overhead but I'm sure it is annoying for the locals! I got a few mosquito bites. There were no flower gardens except one in an old canoe.There was a huge community garden we walked by. It's great to see the land being used.
