This has to be one of my favourites if nit the best to date. The size of this property is superb for how long it takes to get there, meaning a huge size close to the city not to far north. I was searching for any small park a d fell in love as soon as I saw the words crown lands. A quick review of the trail map confirmed I was in a good place. Many acres total and many kilometers of trails. I picked one a d immediately curiosity caused me to go the entire opposite direction. Then the sound of water drew me off the path and ididnt see another person for the whole 3 hours despite 20 vehicles in parking and road outside gates. Although I was hoping the water sound was a waterfall, I was not disappointed to see the work of nature and a batle between water and earth over the direction of rivers and streams, natural dams are quite impressive. There are infinite opportunities to cross over the water ways here. Stay with the water and you cant get lost. There are well trodden paths on both sides and I sont think u could ever take the same way thru here twice, even if you tried to on purpose. There are several entrances if.you want to pick up where you left off a d you definitely wont have to take the same trail back as you started on for more excitement both ways. A must...

I go jogging here sometimes great place to be out in the wilderness it's very clean the majority of people that go here do not leave their trash. I've been here bike riding with my daughter I have been jogging here by myself and it is very nice to see other people from the area being with their families and just having a good time. There is the occasional time where you at teenagers that have parents that have a no idea what their kids are doing it's not something you can help some parents Our Guest sperm donors and lodging four people they're raised that's not a parent a parent should know where their kids are at all times and teach them to respect others and nature we need to teach our kids if we don't look after nature it will not be there don't let your kids have spray paint if you see them smack him in the head put them over your knee be a parent. I think it is better to get a concussion learning right from wrong then a concussion earning money from football MMA whatever else you get a concussion from skateboarding people should do the rest of the world to planet and parent their child that's just one...

Had a wonderful day with my family on the weekend at Orono Crown Lands. The weather was perfect for a hike. We walked the orange trail but due to time constraints couldn’t finish the trail and had to return from checkpoint #12.

The view, the colours, the smell, the sound all worked in harmony at the creek and felt nature was giving me a warm hug.

The trail was easy for 3 generation to walk through and the trail kept getting interesting with every step.

Will visit again in the winter to check it out in the...

Such a beautiful place to walk amidst nature. It is well marked and there are maps available at the entrance to guide one as one walks. We loved the orange trail, which went along the creek. One comes across all kinds of historic sites inside! Great for both, dogs and kids. There are different trail lengths to challenge beginners as well as long distance walkers. Parking is free. One entrance is on Taunton road (purple and red trail), while the other entrance is on Ochonski road, Orono (main entrance).
