I recently visited the gorge parc and while I initially found the entry fee to be a bit higher compared to places like SEPAQ parks or others, I think the variety of activities makes up for it. There’s plenty to do, including a well-maintained camping area, a kids’ playground, and a designated swimming section.
A helpful tip for future visitors: there are three main entrances to the park, and I recommend using the second entrance, the camping entrance, as it’s the most convenient.
Once inside, there are three main trails: 1- The Promenade Trail: A relaxed walk leading to a local farm, ideal for families with young kids or anyone looking for an easy stroll. 2- The Mountain Trails: These offer a bit more challenge with scenic views and nature immersion. You can connect to them from the Couillard Tower for a longer exploration. 3- The Grotte Trail: This is the highlight for most visitors and takes you through some of the park’s most iconic features. The suspension bridge is probably the most memorable part, offering sweeping views and a bit of excitement as you cross. Along this trail, you’ll also encounter The Grotte (though it’s not particularly large or spectacular), The Couillard Tower (which provides some great photo ops with a panoramic view), and the dams. There’s also the Foresta Lumina, which adds a magical touch, especially if you visit at the evening.
In total, the three trails cover around 10 km, which can be comfortably completed in 3 hours or less, making it an easy and enjoyable hike for most people. The suspension bridge was a nice experience, and the view from the tower was definitely a highlight.
Overall, it’s a great trip for those who don’t want a very demanding hike but still want to enjoy some beautiful scenery and light adventure. Though the entry fee might seem high, the variety of activities and ease of access make it a worthwhile visit.

There are 2 activities here. Daytime hiking and at the same exact spot, nighttime lightshow on the trail. Foresta lumina. Night show you don't go as far. Only an hour long. Day you have the full 3.5 km gorge trail and more if you like.
There's a lot more to see than just the bridge. And history to read along the way. There's even a cave you can walk into and a high lookout tower. You can decide how long you want to walk for as well. Normally it's 3.5 klm. to see everything by the dam.
Tickets can be bought online or right on site. For daytime it's quicker to just buy at the place. Good for all day. And all the trails.
The bridge doesn't move much at all. Maybe if you get someone jumping around a lot.
Also, you can bring your dog if it's on a leash!
And I wouldn't recommend strollers. 3 places with a lot of stairs but people do do it, however not alone!
Also, free to anyone who lives in the area! Otherwise 8$ adults, 4.75$ first kid (4 to 15) and $3 ea...

Great place for a hike while enjoying a beautiful view. Within the grounds you can also see the Foresta Lumina. It's 8$ per person, but very reasonable for trekking within a magnificent park. There is a very narrow suspended pedestrian bridge, longest in history, worth crossing. If you're afraid of heights, there is another way through the park.
Beautiful waterfall views, the peaceful sound of water running, tall hemlock trees, Tour Couillard tower standing 30 feet high; be prepared to walk up 7 stories of stairs with a fabulous lookout view at the top. There's even an old cave through which the water used to run through, water still trickles down the walls within. Lots of nature to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit....
