Camping du Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook — Hotel in Coaticook

Pretty good camping. Not as good as nationap and f ederal parks (less room, more of of a small community camping feeling than being out in the woods). The favilities are very clean and there are plenty of FREE showers and bathrooms for everyone. The sites are a bit on the small side and aren't particularly deep in the woods, making for less intimacy, but they are clean and have nice tabkes and fire pits. One huge advantage of the are is that there are NO MOSQUITOES, which is both a welcomed surprise and such a relief. Camping has a inground pool, a water games area, a small park with swings and climbing things, and also some form of a stage. Also, they have a small farm that kids can visit, and fpr a reasonnable fee, help take care of the animals in the am. The main counter sells tickets to the local activities (foresta lumina and the little farm) and the staff are very helpful. There is also a small restaurant open during the day serving cantine fast food. Overall good experience. Would go again if there was...

The trail and surrounding is nice a lots to do, but the park needs major reno or reorganization. There "tout pret a camper" are white and in the sun so in the morning at 5am the sun reflect directly on the tent and gets very hot by 7am, no privacy, no trees. They are very close to each others the no. 4 and no 5 are very small and don't smell nice inside. No refrigerator to put your food in, but they have air conditioning in the new one only?.... to preserve the food nice and fresh a refrigerator would be way more advantage then an A/c in a camping tent....especially when staying for a few days. Service a la clientele very poor, when you call and need to talk to somebody they are either not there or can't speak to anybody. Was very disappointed of my staying we left earlier then...

Première fois en camping à cet endroit sous recommandation de membre de la famille. Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants (4 et 6 ans). Nous avons séjourné à ce camping pour la fin de semaine de la St-Jean-Baptiste. Pour la première fois de ma vie, je n'avais pas hâte de quitter l'endroit même après 3 nuits. L'endroit est propre, super bien entretenu, beaux paysagements. Belle piscine, beau jeux d'eau, quelques chaises longues très appréciées. Les blocs sanitaires sont propres, l'accueil est sublime. Il y a une salle pour les plus jeunes avec arcade, jeux, table de billard, hockey. Le soir un film y est présenté avec slush gratuite pour les enfants. Sérieusement le bois n'est vraiment pas cher pour la quantité que nous avons. 9$ pour une quinzaine de belles bûches si c'est pas plus.

Il y a un beau parc aussi, une petite piste de fat bike avec des bosses, ou même dans notre cas pour notre voiture téléguidée.

La seule chose négative que j'ai à dire c'est que le casse-croûte le service est très très lent. Bon il y a surement une explication (manque de personnel cette journée-là, nouveaux employés, etc.) c'est correct je comprends sauf que lorsque j'ai vu que les gens devant moi commandaient des hot-dogs et que la jeune fille les faisait cuire dans une poêle sur un four... on s'est dit que ça allait être long et au bout de 20 minutes nous sommes partis.

Les sentiers sont très nombreux autant pédestre qu'à vélo. Nous avons fait le sentier de la gorge et nos jeunes enfants ont adoré et voulait recommencer malgré le 3.5 km qu'à duré le sentier. Nous nous sommes promené à vélo sur quelques sentiers et aussi sur le site du camping pour découvrir les nombreux autres terrains tous aussi beaux.

Il y a une belle petite ferme sur le site où nous avons pu prendre des lapineaux de quelques semaines et les flatter.

Je termine avec le Foresta Lumina qui est merveilleux. Mes enfants ont adoré et nous aussi devant la beauté de l'animation, des effets lumineux et sonore. Une belle expérience.
