It was a cloudy day when we went, no crowds at all. Plentiful sand to play in and easy access to swimming in the cool Kalamalka Lake. There is a concession stand but it closed early, so double check time if you plan to grab food or treats from them, but there is a pub right beside Kal Beach (Alexander's Pub). I recommend not having food unattended with your towels/supplies as several fowl (mostly ducks but some geese and occasional seagulls) would frequently check out your things looking for food. We had none so they would generally walk up, check us out, then walk off. The birds weren't aggressive and we only took photos, did not try to touch or otherwise engage with them.

There are public beach access washrooms. Lots of beach parking off of Husband Rd, but you do have to cross a train track and road to access the beach. There is disabled parking and there is wheelchair access across the tracks and a ramp down to the road to where the clearly marked crosswalk lay. There wasn't a noticeable wheelchair beach access pathway/carpet at the beach to cross the sand. And the sand is very soft and awkward to walk in if you're unbalanced or use a cane. Use caution. Otherwise we...

Kal Beach is an absolute must-visit if you're in the area! The views are simply stunning, making it a perfect spot for photography, relaxing, or just soaking in the natural beauty.

One of the highlights is the bridge that extends into the water—beautifully positioned right in the middle of the scenic surroundings. It’s a great place to take photos or just enjoy the peaceful lake views.

The beach is clean and well-maintained, with soft sand and clear water. There’s also a volleyball area, adding a fun and active vibe to the beach. Whether you're looking to play, swim, or just relax, there's something for everyone.

It’s a great spot for both kids and adults, and our whole group really enjoyed the time we spent there. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone who loves nature and...

We enjoy this beach for our family get togethers. The water is always a beautiful colour, the sun shines on the beach all day, there is shade and a Nice drop off zone plus free parking close by.

The dock is really big and fun to play on or jump off of. Great photo spot as well:). This beach has good bathrooms and a concession as well. I past years they've also had water sports items for rent like paddle boards.

There is a volleyball court and it's just a short walk to a nice restaurant.

The sand is very hot and remember it is a lake, not the ocean so it's more of a fine dirt, not ocean sand. Make sure your little ones have water shoes. We usually bring a tent if we are staying all day as the shade moves...

Enjoy a generous beach area with large mature trees, a proper bathroom, a snack shack that serves hot dogs, slushies, some Mexican fare and popsicles. The dock is very long 100 feet or so, with ladders available at different depths and sides including the end. The lake itself at this beach is shallow and you can walk around 60 ft. off the beach before it starts hitting your shoulders. Parking is interesting as you have to park across the street and then cross a railway track and then a controlled crossing. There is an unloading area where you can pull over and dump your stuff at the controlled crossing. Pack water and an umbrella for shade, you'll be happy you stopped by. Please don't litter 💗
