Nice small, short, trail along the river. Easily accessible to all ages and abilities. Might see kayakers float by, or large fish swimming up river. Popular spot to swim, tube the river, play with dogs, and hangout in the summer. There's a small playground with swings, slides, and standard park equipment. The only thing it lacks is a standout scenic point. Closest marks are the large boulder across the river that many people jump off in the summer (locally known as big chief), or the bend across from the park where the small bridge crosses over. This is where dozens, and sometimes hundreds, of fish can be found if you choose to...

It's always nice to go for a stroll next to the Puntledge River. One of the unique experiences here, is to swim with the Salmon in Summer, when they're moving upstream to spawn - a fantastic experience, albeit in a fairly fast flowing river. Take some goggles so you can watch them underwater. In fact the whole Salmon Season is on display, right to the dying carcasses at the end of it all. It's a great swimming experience, plus soaking up some sun on the river banks 🌞 Chances are high you'll see some folks floating down the Puntledge on their Tubes - another popular...

I grew up swimming in this river. Nice little rapids and a slight brisk current, also the current is slow in spots for kids to have fun. The trails are perfect for a quick dog walk. Or escape the heat in the summer. Very shady in the trees. Gets really busy in the summer. Do not take valuables to the river as a rule. Restrooms are above the park in the parking lot. Salmon spawning season is stinky but fascinating. Education for the kids.. There were dinosaur bones found in this river of an entire dinosaur. Also a basic playground for all ages to swing...

The river is Stunning, fast flowing, but also places where you can float around more and swim, not so much of a current. There were people going down the river on their tubes, it wasn’t too busy. Lots of parking. About a five minute walk to river from parking lot. Best to bring water socks or good sandals to wear in river cause rocks are slippery, and not as easy to walk on. Although there are some areas where it’s more pebbles. I loved it here I will cone back.

Nice park that has a river where you can fish for salmon depending on the time of the year. The paths where nice with some wooden bridges and a nice walk through the forest. The River was nice to see and listen too. There were people fishing along the river while I walked around. The place was nice and peaceful. There was a person in an electric scooter going around too so some parts where easy to get to and move around.
