I really wanted to love this place and it hurts me to write this review. I was a returning customer and went many times - unfortunately, almost every buy was a fail and I kept giving second chances due to the lovely staff and desire to support local. Every single time I bought bread, it would go moldy after just a couple days. I make my own bread often - I am not very sanitary, and it will last 1-1.5 weeks before going moldy. Not 2-3 days. When I enter a bakery, I expect something better than the amateur breads I make on my own as they should be experts and I am not. What a disappointment. Please support competent bakeries to make Courtenay a place to be proud of. For tourism, for the people, for honor. However, this place makes me ashamed of our local bread...

I can't recommend them enough, they are great people making...
