The cruise was good. The places it covered and the information provided on board was very nice. However, the behavior of the staff left a lot to be desired. There is no outside food allowed on board. So, we wanted to finish our lunch before boarding. We arrived 10 mins before 12PM and since we had food with us, we sat on the bench in front of cruise entrance and started to eat our lunch as quickly as we can. We were with our 3 year old son. We did not want the cruise to be late because of us. We ate whatever we could in 5 mins and boarded the ship. However, the cruise did not start even till 12:10 PM. So, I inquired and the staff told us that they are still waiting for a bus party to arrive. I am totally fine with it, but they saw us eating the lunch in hurry in front of them and not one person has the courtesy to tell that we can eat at peace as there is another bus party which they are waiting for. Also, on board the behavior of staff was more rude. They only had Hot dogs and Pizza to order. Only Ketchup and Mustard was there as condiments and when the Ketchup bottle was finished and I asked if they have another one, the lady rudely replied No. You have more than 100 people on board and don't carry an extra bottle of Ketchup. The on board staff was rude to kids as well. Its a 3 hour cruise, so kids will run around and do some stuff. After all they are kids. Don't expect kids to behave like adults. If you are so worried about it, don't allow kids on board. Overall a nice experience ruined by some rude...

MUSKOKA GAGA CRUISE REVIEW

If you’re visiting Muskoka and looking to kill 2 hours, this isn’t the worst thing in the world. The guy on board who serves drinks and checks people in is super nice and offers to take pictures of people, and goes around and makes conversation with the guests on board. The scene was nice, although all we really saw was the backyard of peoples cottages and docks. At the very end of the ride, when you’re just waiting to get off, they take us to a small fall in brace bridge. Honestly the highlight of this whole thing was that guy, whose name we didn’t get. Alcohol was very expensive. Limited drinks, and served out of a cooler. Gotta do what you gotta do, but still low class. The website is outdated, and they told us to come 15 minutes early. I assume this was before Covid.. we showed up at 3:15 for our 3:30 boarding, and the boat still showed up 5 minutes past 3:30. No one knew where to go when waiting because there was absolutely no signs, and no one to register us with our tickets until we literally boarded on the boat behind a quality INN hotel. Everybody was really confused and we simply relied on word of mouth from the confused people around us that we were at the right waiting spot.

At the end of day, it’s a cruise. It’s cheap. You feel fancy for a few minutes and you see the backyard of Les Stroud’s brothers house (survivor man). Have...

This is a great cruise to enjoy the Muskoka River from the town of Bracebridge, especially in the fall. We went on a weekday so it wasn’t as busy and made it nice and spacious from seeing the River from different spots on the upper and lower levels. It’s overall low maintenance, but everything you need in a little River cruise. I noticed in a different review someone complaining about not knowing where to go but this wasn’t my experience at all. There’s lots of free parking at the Quality Inn and it is very obvious where to wait for the vessel behind the hotel along the River. It’s accessible with a ramp to the dock as well. I didn’t order anything on the vessel but some drinks and snacks were available for purchase. Near the end of the cruise the vessel turns around at the Silver Bridge and Bracebridge Falls which is an amazing view of the falls that you can’t get anywhere else from the trails or roads around it. It’s spectacular! For the price and duration, you can’t go wrong with this cruise if you’re looking for something fun to do in Bracebridge. The owner Stephen is a nice and friendly gentleman who is open to feedback as well. Looking forward to enjoying the cruise in Port...

I was rather disappointed. This is the second time I have been on this tour at Bracebridge. The first time was about 6 years ago on the Lady Muskoka proper . Now it out of sevice and a B&B. Sad.This vessel was wonderful. They served food, had tons of room, and a strong interpretive element that told the rich history of and life in the Muskokas. Fast forward to today , Aug 7, 2023, Smaller vessel, ok amount of room, no food (in fact all they had was 3 bags of chips and a modest amount of pop to do a 90 minute cruise...and I am not exaggerating at all) and absolutely no interpretive event and way, way shorter length. While the 2 man crew was friendly, this was the ultimate in a no frills , barebones cruise. I have ever been on a cruise that did not tell the story of where you are and what it means. And it was far too short. The only saving grace to an otherwise unsatisfactory cruise was the scenery which was as always quite nice. But please make this trip more interesting. And fix the benches at the dock! They are falling apart and becoming a saftey hazard!

On Saturday September 20, I had the privilege to cruise aboard on the Lady Rosseau and her amazing Crew with three Gracious gentlemen.. the magnificent Captain Glen, Tour Guide Ryan who was very savvy and informative with sharing the rich history of the Muskoka's and the lovely lake Rosseau. I thought he was charming, humourous and phenomenal. Also, most importantly, Jim who was very graciously bartending and entertaining us with such subtle manners and fine etiquette. Thank you Cap'n for navigating us with such easy grace, smooth sailing and especially, making us happy. Thank you from Sara Bissoon.

We had a terrific time on our cruise. The route was wonderful, and we loved the information provided by the captain throughout the tour. The snack bar is well stocked, and the giant butter tarts were DELICIOUS. The only thing that would have made it better was more sturdy/ comfortable seating on the outside decks. My husband and I had amazing seats right on the stern of the boat, but our chairs were very flimsy plastic folding chairs, and definitely not comfortable for the longer cruise. Highly recommend if you're looking for a lovely tour of the beautiful Lake Muskoka!
