Best trail to exercise with you dogo off leash If it Rains (it rains more than 165 days in BC...so is expected for true British Columbians) The forrest is your best friend!. You could need protection outside but Forrest helps lower the need for tons of layers. You can run with shorts and t-shirt till passed October then maybe 1st layer and shorts/tights for women maybe. Carry a rain jacket in your pack And some light weight softshell gloves. When snow hits just be ready for a change in your layers maybe. Trail requires people to pick up hiking shoes, sneakers will increase your chance for a torn ankle. Be careful with woden trail paths as they get extremely slippery with weather and tree sap.

Great spot to explore the woods of the Northshore. Limited parking available at this location. From here you can head down to Inter River park via Baden Powell or do a short loop via Richard David Juryn trail and Diamond trail back to the lot. The loop will take you past an excellent viewpoint of the city of Burnaby and through a beautiful forest landscape. Very peaceful and less busy than the other parts of the park. Dogs allowed off leash.

Basically it’s a trail full of tall trees. And I haven’t seen such towering trees in trails of other asian countries (hk, singapore, indonesia…). Quiet. There is a river and many people swim there too. You may bring your swimming trunks. But be careful don’t jump off the cliffs into the water. In BC online said a lot of people died because of this. So be careful.

If you need a break from the city, this jungle is the perfect escape. The hiking trails were well-maintained, the viewpoints were stunning, and the fresh jungle air was invigorating. Our guide was fantastic, teaching us about medicinal plants and pointing out camouflaged animals we would have never noticed on our own. We even had a peaceful moment by a quiet river, just listening to the sounds of nature. An absolutely...
