Went on a weekend around noon, and it was quite busy but still an enjoyable experience. The trail has some light elevation but overall felt very beginner-friendly. (if you like more intense hiking, this is not a place for you) There are several trail options to explore, and I guess we took one of the most iconic trail with a bridge. Walking along the bridge while listening to the flowing river was a peaceful highlight. It’s also super convenient—less than an hour’s drive from Vancouver, and easy to find without getting lost. A great short getaway into nature, especially if you’re looking for something accessible and not too intense.

Mostly in woods, nice serene hike on well maintained trail of many options. You can do 10k large loop or a quick 3k hike. A couple of points of interest along the way such as Seymour river suspension bridge and mystery creek fall (underwhelming in summer). CMHC trails are shared with many cyclists who are usually nice and respectful. Lots of interesting looking mushrooms to observe as well!

Overall a great place for a hike. There is a wide mixture of trails with slightly lacking signage at points. Google maps is missing a lot of the minor trails but it's not too hard to course correct if necessary. One key aspect was parking which was very plentiful given the neighborhood which is a great feature when compared to some other trails.

The trail is excellent with beautiful stream running. But if you scare of dogs, DO NOT GO! In my 20mins hike, I met 5 different dog walkers/owners some of them wearing reflective vests, each having 5-8 dogs, all on loose, not leashed at all, having their dogs running to you, barking at you, sniffling you. The human don’t care to take their dogs with them as they are watching too many dogs all at once! I love animals but when you have so many dogs all at once with someone who may not even know them well leading them, I was scared. None of them put their dogs closer to them or put on leash even I stopped and asked them to do so. That made the dogs bark or even more curious running towards me. The park should have signs “ Dogs on leash all the time” if human are not being...

Walking through this jungle felt like stepping into another world. The trees stretched endlessly into the sky, vines curled around ancient trunks, and the air was alive with the sounds of birds and rustling leaves. I was lucky enough to see a group of howler monkeys swinging between branches! The trails led us to a gorgeous waterfall, where we took a refreshing dip. This is a place where you can truly connect with nature....
