Rundle Park Disc Golf Course — Attraction in Edmonton

Large open spaces for the holes are beginner friendly. Some of the longer drives might be a bit daunting, but the big open space is very forgiving for errant wide shots. You won't have to worry about ripping it wide and spending the next half hour searching for your lost disc in the bushes!

Two things that could be improved, there's no washroom at the parking lot and the signage needs help. We spent a fair bit of time wandering looking for the next hole a few times, a couple of the tee boxes are missing signage all together

Originally installed in 1980 by a company from Minnesota, Rundle park disc golf course was upgraded in 1998 by a group that became EDGA Edmonton Disc Golf Association and in 2010 the course was re-designed and upgraded by EDGA with help from the City of Edmonton, EDGA funded the cost of the baskets plus a few members donated some of the baskets to make this course a challenging and awesome experience, a good combination of short and long shots along trees and ponds to add to the excitement, concrete tee pads and different pin locations to keep it interesting, EDGA works hard to maintain the equipment and teach everyone...

Ainsworth Bridge is located in Rundle Park and has a lovely back story to the naming of it, you'll have to go there to read the plaque and find out for yourself, no spoilers here, you might even tear up or let out an aweee. We frequent Rundle park for our daily walks and it's just beautiful anytime of year. Words can't explain or express the wonderful attributes of what nature has to offer.
