We are from Northern Ontario and have close access to Science North in Sudbury - a very expansive science centre. Not going to lie - on our trip out East, when we pulled up to Science East in Fredericton and saw how small it was on the outside, we were pretty apprehensive. All concerns were washed away when we went inside. For the small space they have, theyāve done an AMAZING job. I loved how interactive everything was - everyone in my family (including a teen and a tween) had a great time trying everything out, and every corner of every room was used for some type of experiment to try. Very children friendly , designed for 10 and under. The exhibits were traditional and would be informative and interesting for children. An upgrade incorporating the 21th c Web based science would be appreciated however keep the childrenās theme. A name addition adding āChildrenā in the title would stop the disappointment of travellers expecting a North/ON Science Centre experience. Still had a lot of fun and could play and interact with a ton of contraptions and experiments.
The playground in the back was great and they spent a lot of time in there.
We spent almost 3 hours and, because of her age, we haven't really read a single thing.
So there's a lot of content for curious kids to go throught, and it is very diversified in nature.
