Brown's Bay Beach and Picnic Area is a hidden gem that's perfect for a relaxing day with family and friends. The picnic area is spacious and well-maintained, with plenty of tables and BBQ stations, making it easy to set up a cozy spot for lunch or dinner.

What I love most is the dog-friendly environment. There's a dedicated dog playground where your furry friends can run around and socialize with other dogs. It's rare to find a beach that caters so well to pets, so this was a big plus for us.

The beach itself is clean, with calm waters that are great for swimming or just wading in. There are also several walking trails around, providing beautiful views of the bay. The facilities are clean, and there's ample parking, which is always a bonus.

Overall, Brown's Bay is a fantastic spot for a family picnic, a fun day at the beach, or just a peaceful walk with your dog. Highly...

The place itself is lovely but it’s poorly managed. I ended up buying a season pass to which they didn’t tell me that they’re closed Mondays and Tuesdays (literally 2/7of the summer) after I’d come, driven all the way there, and they told me they’re at capacity so I couldn’t go in. They have a phone number but their phone never gets answered. It is so not worth it and the next time I go if there’s one more issue I’m asking for a refund for my season pass and I’m never going back to this place unless they get their act together. It’s backhanded and deceitful to say here’s a season pass, we will take your money but you can’t use the park. It is also not very clean there are cans and garbage floating in the water and on the grass constantly. I would expect a place that charges such a high admission and a season fee as well to be a lot cleaner than it...

Went today because I've heard great things about this beach....we were beyond disappointed 😞 There's currently no beach as it's under water...currently the water is 3 feet deeper than normal and the geese population is overgrown here and the poop everywhere is beyond disgusting. We literally stayed long enough for lunch as we had a diabetic child with us who needed to eat. When we left I mentioned to the staff that perhaps they should put a notice on their website about the non existent beach and the geese and they didn't seem to care. Glad I only paid 7.50 and not 20.00 Don't know if I'll ever go back as it's an 1 hour drive from Barrhaven and I was seriously disappointed as to why they wouldn't tell people on their website about the water being higher and the...

Pretty nice beach. Definitely one of the rockier/weedy beaches in the area, and when we went, the bacteria levels were high - but pretty views and it’s nice to watch the boats go by. Got a little annoyed after a little while with all the random flies. Pretty sure I got bit more than a few times. Washrooms and change area was alright. Got told to please wait while someone was cleaning the ladies washroom, but they forgot to stock the toilet paper. Literally one stall had toilet paper…
