Sentier du Lac-des-Fees is a nice easy walk which takes 30 minutes or so, give or take, depending on your speed. The lake is beautiful and has a number of nice lookouts.
If you start at this trail head, you can turn it into a loop by crossing the road once you reach the end of the trail and coming back on the paved walking/cycling path.
Fun fact from a sign along the path. The lake takes its name from a legend. Long ago a young native woman had two suitors. Before she was able to choose between them, both were killed at war. Grieving, she died shortly after. Today, it is said that the ghosts of the two suitors haunt the waters of the lake, searching for their beloved. Caution is needed here because it can be very rocky with lots of roots sticking out on the path which means you can easily take a tumble if you don’t pay attention.
