Our experience on a Friday was great! We went yesterday. We believe the main road to get there might be closed as the parking lot was empty. Thankfully, we got to Pink Lake by parking on the side of the road (gps took us right there) and walked about 500m in the forest 🌳 (which was gorgeous). Others had done the same but it was quiet yesterday. With the beautiful sun out the lake was showing it’s beautiful famous teal color. The hike i’d say is rated intermediate as there’s a lot of stairs and areas of natural branching. This location is not stroller friendly nor wheelchair friendly. All the beautiful trees surrounding the lake provide nice shade during the hike. Bring a lunch, there’s a lot of beautiful spots to stop and enjoy the beauty of nature. However, please protect the area and keep your trash in your bag 🩵. We were sad to see plastic bottles in a few areas which are very hard to reach for whoever maintains the property.
