If you are looking for Duclos point Nature Reserve, don't. You won't find it cause the name was changed to Morning Glory Provincial Nature Reserve. No signage from the road to direct you, there is only a sign in the small parking area which only has room for a few vehicles. I was there last Sat and it is basically a narrow nature strip. Very overgrown presently and about 1 km in it was boggy and unpassable so I turned back. Near the entrance to the trail is some good bird watching. I wonder what the remainder of the reserve is like if it hadn't been boggy. Another lady in there had enjoyed the reserve in the winter and and found it was easier to get around when the ground was frozen. I might go back.

Chicken bay is always beautiful and the perfect place to hang out for the day. Took our dog for his first time swimming since it’s so shallow. He loved it

Trail is a mess. Waterproof footwear? Better make it rubber boots or waders. Easy to slip & fall. If not sure footed - don’t bother. Brought binoculars- a bust , couldn’t get to a decent spot. Surely, putting mulch on the path could make it somewhat passable. Think twice before bringing a camera. As a typical Provincial Nature Reserve it is daunting to locate. If you’re local you’re fine - you know where it is. As for the rest of us - don’t bother trying to appreciate the natural...

It's my go to place for lazy crazy days of summer and a great place to see the northern lights. Too many tourist on weekends. It is not a provincial park. It is a beach that is maintained by the municipality. Great place for locals when the tourists...
