This is my go to beach spot to get away from the City! There is a convivence store right by the beach that has lots of snacks and a full ice cream bar (Kawartha Dairy) They also have food like Hot dogs, Burgers and Fries to buy during the Summer. The staff at the store are super friendly and the lady that makes the food is the sweetest! Parking here during the summer is $10 for the whole day which is such a great price! There are porta potties in the parking lot as well. This is a very small beach and gets packed pretty fast in the summer however there are about 5 picnic tables, 2 benches that have great Lakeview's and a small grassy/sandy area. There is an L shaped walkway on the water that is a good spot for pictures and catching the sunset.

I like going to Willow Park specifically once Ban on BBQ came in. Before you go, and smoke just kills you. It's impossible to breathe and find a spot to chill with family. Now it's enjoyable to come there after work and enjoy the lake. The only thing I don't like about park is the road that runs next to the beach. It's a very dangerous thing. I don't understand why city just close the road utleast on weekend. All tjw do is put couple police cars to watch the public. My dog got hit with the car and past away at this beach. Sometimes, I'm very worried about kids running out on the road because there is lots of people driving their car a little drunk.

We went here when my nieces and nephews came for a visit last summer. They loved jumping off the dock. The water is super clean too. The sandy area could use more maintenance (there are thousands of shells there, and it does tend to hurt your feet a bit). It's not the kind of beach that you would roll out a blanket and chill. However, the shore area with the shells is great if you have a kid that likes to collect that sort of thing, just wear water shoes over there.

There's a little ice cream shop across the street, but they only accept cash so come prepared. This was a little annoying the first time I visited since I wasn't prepared for a cash only transaction.

Overall, very cute spot, great for kids and teenagers and a little less busy than some of the other beaches...
