The view here is really nice during the fall season. Me and my friends went here last year where there is no reservation required. 🙂 Parking Area: We visited on Sunday and came really early like around 5:40 am for us to be able to park in Dundas Peak. We noticed after 8:00 am they put a sign that NO PARKING in dundas peak conservation area and that all parking will be at Christie Lake. By then, there will be a school bus who will pick up visitors in Christie Lake Parking Area to drop visitors to Dundas Peak and Websters Falls. If your gonna visit around 11 am and onwards, the line up for the bus is very huge. I think there is also a $5 or $10 charge for the school bus and that doesn’t include the parking fee which i forgot how much. ( I can no longer remember) ( THIS WAS OUR EXPERIENCE LAST YEAR )

Probably not as great as the tik tok videos you may see lol!!! Its an hour walk through a forest sometimes very steep drop offs without barriers so kinda scary at times i mean the path is wide enough but not exactly a place id want to ride a bike although we did see one guy on a bike i wonder how he made out. There is maybe 3 spots to look out 1 is right over the town of dundas and it is a pretty view, we maybe were a bit early for the tree colour changing but was still pretty, there was tews waterfall at the beginning you cant get close at all to it, and then the look outs... you have to leave that park and go to another parking lot for the spencer gorge qebster waterfall part, we just viewed the waterfall this time as we were on the last leg of our trip and we have done the park walk before which is very nice and pretty and makes the 30$ for the 2 of us more worth it in the end.... i wont be going back though the trail itself without the second park is not qorth the money so make sure you find the other half of the park!! Too bad we have to make reservations to go sightseeing or hiking at parks in our own country anymore.....

Tews falls definitely made the trip worthwhile. Dundas peak wasn't all that exciting, the overlook from Tews is way better. There's only one spot at Dundas peak that looks to the trees in the corner and a group was doing a photoshoot there for their insta. They were there for 20mins+ and wouldn't let other people enjoy the view. They would literally glare and scoff at you. We ended up leaving like 3 other groups. Also it's $30 for two people plus the car. We hiked the whole trail to and back in 40 mins. When I was a kid, it was free. I know it's to maintain the place, but there were at least 10 groups of 2 that we passed while hiking. This is on a Thurs morning. For that price, there should have someone up at the peak to manage people. It's not worth it considering what's in Ontario, but if you go, at least savour the view at Tews for full 2 hours.

Awesome place to travel and have a great outing. There are many amazing things about this place: 1. On the start itself enjoy a great, beautiful and mesmerising view of Tew’s falls and feel the fresh air. 2. After that go on a short trail of around 1 km and reach Dundas peak to see a beautiful view of Hamilton town and if you are reaching in the evening then u might be lucky enough to see the amazing and heart capturing view of sunset as well. Everytime you can hear the voice of waterfall and the breeze which is really pleasing. There is one more waterfall when u reach Dundas Peak and you can experience that as well. Also there are informative boards at various points on the trail which can guide you which path to follow. All in all it was an amazing experience and one can visit any number of times there 😀😍

It offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the city of Hamilton, the Niagara Escarpment, and the dense forest below. The trail leading to Dundas Peak is moderately challenging, making it accessible to a wide range of hikers. Along the way, you'll pass by other natural attractions like Tews Falls, which is beautiful waterfalls within the conservation area. It's recommended to visit early in the day or during the weekdays to avoid the crowds.
