Mohawk Sports Park — Attraction in Hamilton

I've lived across the street from this park for 25 years and mostly use it to walk my dogs. I really like the park but dog poop everywhere has become a major problem. Its the worst I've seen in the 25 years I've been using it and despite trying my best I stepped in some last week and it was disgusting. Been walking my dog at the Elementary school park in my area ever since. They have signs posted about the rules for walking dogs (Pick up after them and keep on leash) and both rules are never followed and it leads to a poop filled park with dogs running wild everywhere. In short the dog walking experience has become horrible. Giving MSP 4 stars though because I still have a soft spot for it, I even remember running track here back in the mid 90's when I was still in school. But the last few times using it have been so bad it led me here...

We had a great time where with our two little ones. We brought our own skates as I didn't see anything on the website about rentals. We also brought our own skating aid for our 4 year old daughter. They let us bring our stroller on the ice so our two year old could join the fun!

The bar/restaurant on the second floor allows you a full view of the four rinks! Great option for taking breaks inbetween and still being able to wave at...

Great sized park. Well maintained. Parking is a bit less than expected if a huge event was to happen. Great for school events. Washrooms and concession on site which is handy! Only downside is all the disrespectful dog owners that don't clean up after their...
