Beautiful Hidden Gems – But Hard to Navigate Albion Falls is a stunning cascade, even in July when the water flow is low. You can imagine how spectacular it must be in spring when the snow melts. The trail around the falls is easy and scenic, with two main viewing points—but signage is lacking, so it’s not always clear where to go for the best views or parking. There’s no obvious trail to the bottom of the falls, and access looks tricky. Nearby, we stumbled upon Buttermilk Falls by accident while exiting the trail—what a pleasant surprise! Even with barely any water, the rock formation is amazing. You can also drive and park right near Buttermilk, but again, no clear signs make it easy to miss. Overall, it’s a beautiful area with lots to explore—just be prepared to do a bit of your own navigating. Worth the effort, though!

Albion Falls offers a more subdued experience compared to other falls, as visitors cannot get up close to the waterfall. Instead, the falls are viewed from a higher vantage point, which limits the ability to fully immerse in the natural beauty of the area. The site itself is less crowded, providing a more peaceful atmosphere, though the area to explore is relatively small. Fortunately, parking is conveniently available by the side, making it accessible for a quick stop. While it may not offer the same intimate experience as other falls, it’s still a pleasant visit if you’re looking for a quieter spot to enjoy the view.

Great hiking trails. Many areas to walk through. Shaded areas if you don’t want the sun on a hot day. Or there’s trails to walk with sun. Beautiful scenery. Love taking my dogs. There’s a paved trail all the way pass the golf course. Reaching green hill road of the highway. Although it goes all the way there plus. It do not seem like it is, as it’s very nice with huge trees and busy greens. You can hear the nature sounds. Only sometimes you can hear some loud trucks 😁 Love the water. If you get a change to visit the rivers and the ambiance of what it causes while hiking. A couple steep hills. Depending on what side of the trails you take. Some parts of the river it’s not very deep! on a hot sunny day one can go in and enjoy. So many areas to visit when going to Albion Falls. The falls are just amazing. It used to be a very nice place to go down and visit and sit down and enjoy the water at the falls area part, now it has been blocked off because of people and their stupidity. However You can still see it and take photos. It’s know for its beautiful sounds and water flow along with the ambiance of sceneries. There’s free parking along 3 areas in the designated parking areas. Albion Falls is free to go in there is no...
