Scenic Lookout — Attraction in Hamilton

If you’ve ever driven along the Lincoln Alexander Parkway in West Hamilton and found yourself looking up at the cliffs, wondering, “What’s the view like up there?” — this is the place! With everything from the downtown Hamilton to the western tip of Lake Ontario in sight, this lookout is probably the best spot to view West Hamilton and the Dundas region. When the view isn’t protected by trees, the lookout must be enjoyed through a chain-link fence (not the most ideal, but the view is still provided). Great place for a walk, bike ride etc, but don't go looking for solitude. Place is busier than Wal*mart. I'm still learning the culture here. Apparently, you DO NOT acknowledge the presence of anyone you meet on the trail. Absolutely don't say 'hello' or nod. Solipsism is the word of the day there.
