Our very first trail at the park. We were perhaps the one of the few first ones to enter the trail. The hike is a. It difficult as the terrain is quite uneven and has few ups and downs that could tire not so fit people easily.
There are benches throughout just in case. Most of the trail is covered in tree canopy and some of it is out. Some of the views are amazing from the benches. Do take a good camera or a mobile with good quality camera.

I recommend this over other Cape Breton trails. However, there are parts of the trail that are narrow, and a few stretches that are a bit more rugged. I have a disability, so needed a helping hand at some parts, but we were able to walk out in 45 minutes and back in 40. It's well worth it. Please note that it is not stroller friendly. Also, some narrow parts on the cliffside, but not bad if you are steady...
