We could not complete the trip to the tip. However, the loop was an interesting one. It's worth the hike, the trip to the tip I mean.

Few things to note

As per the map there are lookouts on the semicircle part of the loop. However, there no lookouts on that part of the trail. Even then, the lookouts are not that great. There is no clear view. Some pruning needs to be done.

The suggested path would would the straight line to the tip and back. IMO the full loop at the lower end is not worth it.

There is tons of parking spots available right at the trail entrance.

One must drive past the Keltic Lodge and at the very end, there is the road to the parking which is hardly 50 metres. Keep driving straight past the Middle Head sign.

Overall,...

At about three miles following a mostly smooth trail, this hike is easy, but still gives you a lot of beautiful views of the ocean from all directions. It loops around a peninsula, with each side of the loop giving you a different view of the scenery around you. At the end of the trail are two stunning lookout points, one with a large rocky outcropping fantastic for birdwatching. There is a paved parking lot with room for a lot of cars. It was full when we arrived around 12:30 on a nice summer weekday, so we came back later in the evening and it had cleared out significantly. Highly recommend this hike if you’re...

I just recently started exercising again. ( I weigh pass 350) and this trail is pretty good. One of the things I enjoy is hiking. Its an easy hike. it took me about an hour and a half to do while stopping to take pictures and thats with going right down to the end of it where the red chair is at. There are some hills going back up and if you're not paying attention you can easily twist your ankle as its not too groomed in some places. If you are like me you love this as it feels like an...

Do not miss this spot. It's not a hard hike, but the views around every corner are stunning.

Awesome trail... with great views along the way and spectacular lookouts. The fresh smell of the water and fabulous fragrance of all the trees and vegetation. Tip: go right at the fork ...finish the trail to the 2 lookouts and return back to the fork and go left back to the Keltic lodge. You will love the views. There are a couple of benches along the trail looking out to the water below. Most of the trial is shaded with wonderful trees.
