There is a main 3.8 KM loop trail around the lake as well as many other trails in the area. I enjoy doing the loop trail combined with hiking to the top of Mount Matheson for a total of 6.5 KM. The lake is most beautiful when no one's at it, so hike/run around it in the spring and fall and jump in.
