Matheson Lake Guest House — Hotel in Metchosin

My six week stay with Dave and Amanda was wonderful. The Guest House is set in a beautiful spot, it's like being in a Tree House with all the comforts of home. It provides a lovely Rural experience minutes from the Lake with great trails in one direction and a Marina the other. Its only five minutes from the local market and twenty five minutes to the Langford commercial area with any shopping anyone could want.

The Guest House is well appointed, well equipped kitchen and even some staples provided. The beds are comfy and Linen quality. WIFI is excellent and living area comfortably furnished. The back deck is large with beautiful peaceful views of the forest. Dave and Amanda are great hosts, warm, friendly and helpful while respecting their guests privacy... a perfect balance. We were even provided with a bucket of local crab..... what a treat!! During my stay I used the Guest House to entertain out of town guests and to retreat, meditate, walk the woods. It was perfect. What a beautiful spot! Dave and Amanda are incredible hosts. The kitchen is stocked with a lot of little essentials that you don’t necessarily want to buy when you’re on vacation, which was a really nice surprise. The hot tub is great, offering lovely views.
