An awesome park with lots of trails to explore! I was on a weekend trip and could only spend a bit of time to explore the area, but it was a great location! I did the sunset trail (it was kind of hard to find as you need to follow several different trails before you see any sign of sunset trail, such as the never-ending ponderosa trail) - but it was worth it! I hiked with my stan smiths thinking it wouldn’t be so bad, as it was rated easy, but i wish I used a proper hiking shoes. Area’s pretty open too with limited shade, so it can be quite hot when the sun’s up - don’t forget to bring a hat or cap! I’d definitely come back to explore more! :)

Experience was great. It took me 2 hours + to finish my walk. My recommendation is to make sure you plan it well, have water and a phone fully charged, it is a long walk, and things can get confusing. Also, have the app downloaded that can help guide you. It's a good idea to wear hiking shoes, runners will be fine, but you will come across a lot of deep downhill experiences. Dogs are allowed. If it's your first time, try not to go late in the evening I think it will be difficult to find your way back or keep it simple don't go to far. 😉

I went on this hike twice and both times were very nice. It is an uphill hike so if you have bad knees be prepared for the trick back down. Other then it being uphill it was a pretty easy hike if you go at your own pace. The view is worth it! Beware of small cactus if you have a dog wandering near. I also heard the rattles but never saw any snakes. Overall a great walk :)

Great network of hiking and biking trails through varied terrain. This place has it all from treed forest to open hillside. There are an infinite number of loops to make you day however long you want to go. Lots of different access points so check your maps and change it up now and then. It can be a little mucky when wet so pick you times.

Nice park in city! Large area with many trail options with different length and difficulty. Did tower trail which was short but with steady incline. Its terrain reminded me of dessert in Palm Springs. Still fairly easy and quick hike with nice city/ mountains/ water view at the end. 2.8k round trip 35min
