Extremely well maintained. Lots of soccer fields baseball diamonds paved Pathway to walk the perimeter of the entire park. Even in a wheelchair.
Dogs are not allowed fortunately or unfortunately depending upon your viewpoint.
Lots of trees and vegetative growth. Is Not Unusual to see deer grazing near the paved path. You can literally walk past them and they will not run away a lot of the time.
There are also a lot of river views along the path. Marmots are also quite common and curious along the path. Benches with views of the river are scattered along the path as well.
Individuals Jog and families walk and ride bikes around the park. People are friendly and usually wave hello as you pass them going the other way. We love it!
Yes I almost forgot! There is a former 9-hole golf course that has been converted to a Frisbee Golf Course. And it is free. As well as a little mini golf course that is quite well maintained not fancy but fun. And it is also free. Bring your own balls in your own...

The park itself could use some security or the playground moved away from the skate park where the underage teens smoke all kinds of things from cigarettes to meth, play loud music with lots of profanity and or offensive racial or anti police statements, drink, & swear like sailors all day long so younger kids arent listening to it. The wild life while pleasant to look at and things can be intimidating as well because of people feeding them. Even deer get dangerously close. Their feces are also a problem. The arena has two full size hockey rinks with bleachers, curling area near front entrance and a concession stand which opens for games(after covid). Area upstairs for meetings n banquets.
