Holy smokes, I can't believe I didn't know this spot existed! 😮
We stopped here for a hike after an afternoon picnic at Bertram Creek Park. We went from the entrance of the park to just about the top of Cedar Mountain. The views the entire way are stunning! 🏞️
There is a point where you drop down and walk along the creek which is a nice break from the initial uphill climb.
We also enjoyed the information displays along the trail, we learned about vineyards, ecology, and history of the area.
I definitely recommend making this a stop the next time you visit...
Read moreWe should have prepared more! We went on a whim, and quickly realized we needed to be more prepared for hill climbing. We have some asthmatics in the family and should have come outfitted with inhalers as it is quite the hike up the ridge. We are fit(ish), but knew fairly quickly it was more than we were willing to do on our lazy Sunday morning, but we’ll be back more prepared the next time with a daypack, water, and inhalers, lol. Read moreLovely trails to walk on the Lebanon Creek Greenway Regional Park. It is in the Mission Hill area of Kelowna in Kettle Valley on the east side. There is a small parking lot, but trails in the neighbourhood link up there.
