Great place to take your family. Only sad part is some work they did this spring.
Just past the 2nd bridge, they turned a very nice walking trail in the woods into a logging road type of path. They tore out the board walk and installed metal metal culverts that will never see water go through it. It is just a mess. Why do we allow this kind of stuff to happen with no accountability? Right from whoever designed this, the contractors, and whoever approved payment for a supposed job well done. Some out of town visitors were aghast from what they have seen what was done. Read moreScenic Canyon Regional Park in Kelowna, BC, in the Mission area is a nice, nature walk and hiking trail with interesting geological sites and rock ovens once used by Chinese labourers. It is set in the Mission Creek canyon area and it has nice walking trails as well as more difficult hikes with ropes over streams.
