Great trail. Have to take a ferry from The town to George island the price is 5$ per person now. Our driver, Jordyn, was extremely kind and answered all our questions with lots of knowledge! We did get eaten alive by mosquitos on the second half of the trail and practically jumped on the boat to get back! But the view of the Georgian bay made it worth it! Would reccomend doing this hike in late June, July, August and September when there are less bugs… or bug nets are an...

The trail itself is decent and was the first time I had been on George Island. I would highly recommend bug spray however as we made the rookie mistake of forgetting to bring any and got eaten alive. The view from the far side of the island is incredible and the path takes you over a series of different terrains from woodlands wetland, rocky outcrops and shoreline. Somehow I forgot to take any photos of the farside...

A really nice moderately challenging trail with rocky terrain, swamps and some muddy segments that you might need to go around to pass when the weather is wet. You will be rewarded by an amazing veiw of lake Huron from the beach on the way and rare beauty of wild flowers like Lady's slipper orchid (in June). Highly recommend it to all...
