Absolutely gorgeous! This place outclasses Montmorency falls, in my opinion. It’s so much wider and there are so many more camera angles you can get of the falls. Top left, top right, from the bottom left or right, & even on the swinging bridge. Which, is a lovely swinging bridge. I love a good swinging bridge, and this one is certainly one of the best. The flowers in July were lovely, and the parking in the morning & evening was easy. It can get crowded about 11 am. I came to Canada to see Old City Quebec, but honestly, this place was my favorite of everything I saw & visited. The hike is short, and there’s a map to reference near the lookout. I will say, there’s a good bit of stairs so the entire park is not wheelchair accessible. That said, there are still 3 main views of the falls you can see in a wheelchair, and it’s very worthwhile to see...

Visiting this hidden gem of a waterfalls park felt like stepping onto another planet. Unlike the more popular and crowded waterfall park, you know the name of it if you read this review, this location offered a unique and truly intimate experience that really surprised me. I was able to walk right up to the waterfalls, feeling the mist on my face and taking in the surreal landscape that surrounded the falls. The bottom of the falls, in particular, was a sight to behold and something that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Though the cable bridge was a bit scary, the well-maintained trails added to the overall enjoyment of the hike. And the cherry on top? Free admission. This waterfalls park is an extraordinary place that offers a one-of-a-kind experience for nature lovers and a good alternative to the other more...

Did you know that Quebec offers breathtaking winter landscapes?❄️ Here are three stunning waterfalls within an hour’s drive of Quebec City! ❄️Jean Larose Falls: Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of this wild waterfall located approximately 45 minutes from Quebec City. Standing at an impressive 60 metres in height and divided into three steps, the uppermost drop measures about 10 metres, followed by a 15-metre plunge, concluding with a 35-metre final drop. It’s located just a 15-minute walk from the parking lot, but for those seeking a more adventurous route, a five-kilometre round trip hike offers a truly gorgeous scenic journey. ⚠️You can stay on the trail and admire the falls from afar, however, if you decide to go near the falls, consider wearing ice cleats to avoid slipping! ❄️Montmorency Falls: Don’t skip out on this massive 83-metre waterfall, which towers nearly 30 metres higher than Niagara Falls! Situated in a SEPAQ park, just 15 minutes from downtown Old Quebec, it’s a unique and spectacular sight and is particularly enchanting during winter. Make sure you also check out the nearby panoramic views of the St. Lawrence River, where you’ll find yourself surrounded by the soothing sounds of crackling ice. ❄️Chaudière Falls: Standing at 35 metres high, this waterfall offers a dynamic perspective, especially during colder days when it can transform into a frozen wonder. Positioned 23 metres above the Chaudière River, the site features over four-and-a-half kilometres of multifunctional trails, along with picnic areas and playgrounds, making it an ideal destination for a one-day adventure.
