There was a small parking lot on the right just before the goldstream campground check-in building. From here you walk past check-in, there is a pit toilet to the right and then the trail access up on the left. Trail was a bit muddy in spots but plenty of well placed logs and rocks to hop along to keep your feet dry. There is one short steep section before the falls and a large staircase leading down the actual falls. But lots of sitting area and overall didn’t encounter many people it was a very white and relaxing walk. We went out through the arbutus loop that tracks you back through the campground. A very nice, relatively short hike is the trail that runs along the Goldstream River from the gatehouse up to Goldstream falls. A word of warning, there is a fairly steep climb as you get closer to the falls, and there is a long staircase down to the waterfall itself. The stairway has recently been upgraded with synthetic wood steps and metal landings...very solid and very safe.
