Location: This park is about 30 minutes away from the village of Tadoussac. Just take the 138 until you see the sign! There's a parking area though in high season, I would suggest getting there earlier.

The place: Awesome. you take a path down through the forest until you reach the rocks that run along the St. Laurence. You can then access the rocks and either walk about and take photos or park yourself there to wait for whale sightings (and they do make an appearance!). The views are spectacular and it's a wonderful place to relax and unwind. I absolutely loved it there. A word of caution - be careful when navigating on the rocks or you will end up like me: with a sprained ankle! I do want to thank the lovely Parks Canada person who told me to hop into her cart and who then drove me up to my car - she was a lifesaver!

Price point: Just under...

Beautiful spot to sit and watch the whales on the rocks or you can stand by the observation deck and watch. I went on a Tuesday. There was no charge to get in. You do have to walk down a long path to get down there. I think maybe if I'm guessing maybe half a kilometer. I got here about 10:45 a.m. and the parking lot was already pretty much full. I parked on the side of the road it was just easier access to get in and out of. But I don't think they'll allow cars to park there only vans and campers. I would suggest if you can try to get here as early as possible. Anyways nice experience I seen a couple jumping barely but I...

Beautifulllllll place to relax and spend time great the water, observing sea creatures. We spent a little over one hour watching the water and we were able to see seals and lots of birds. No whales, we got unlucky! The area for observation had an indoor part with chairs, but we opted to stay on the rocks for a closer view. The centers themselves were well equipped and had lots of information and very helpful bilingual staff. We were able to get in for free given that we had the Parks Canada Annual Pass! We would have loved to spend more time here, next time, we'll bring a lunch and spend the...

This is an amazing place to watch whales from land: it's easy to see small whales quite close (100m) and, from time to time, also bigger ones. In my experience it's easier to see whales quite early in the morning, around 10am. Do not forget sun protection in summer. To enter this place you have to pay around 8CA$, and you can also visit a small but nice museum about whales and phares, and a couple of buildings. If your goal is only to see some whales from land, I strongly suggest moving 10 minutes North, to Baleine park close to les Ecoumins: it's free and from there you will see more and bigger whales.
